Why give?

  • Our service members have given everything for our freedoms. After service many continue to give through suffering. We get it - we help you get help.

  • Many come to us with intense long-term needs. Others just need some help to get back or stay on track.

We’re here for all of them as they were there for all of us.

  • Our main program goal is to help our El Dorado County veterans succeed for the long term.

  • We are especially interested in helping our veterans get through the long-term management of mental health issues.

Sometimes it only takes a kind heart and a hand to hold or a kind nudge to help someone get back on track.

    We are Only Kindness.

  • Every dollar helps us help them. We are a non-profit agency in El Dorado County. IRS NP # 91-2039393

  • Because everybody needs a little help at one point or another in their lives.

We are here for our veterans and their families.

“Hello, I’d like to give my appreciation to the Veterans Outreach Program. As a just diagnosed cancer patient, I was at my lowest and just had my world flipped upside down. I had to stop working and proceed with surgery and treatment. Even though I had to stop working my bills and household didn’t stop accumulating and expenses keep flowing. I was then lost and needed help. Through an old friend that had devoted his life to veterans, referred me to the VOP Team. They are awesome and have devoted their time and efforts to give back. Well, I contacted them, and they got me processed and asked me what my greatest fear/need/bill was? Right then I felt relief and that I wasn’t alone in all this. I now have a great relationship with the VOP team, I know I can call on them whenever I need help.”

Robert G., Veteran

“I cannot tell you how grateful my husband and I are for the ongoing support, encouragement and the blessings of working with the Veterans Outreach Team of Only Kindness, Inc.  Their namesake fits.”

Pat O., wife of Veteran.”

“May all the workers in your field be as generous. This organization is helping others one step at a time.”

Bonnie W., Collaborative Partner El Dorado County
